Tullah’s role in the construction of the Pieman Hydroelectric Power Scheme in the 1970s brought the village to life. Today, Tullah invites visitors to explore its untouched landscapes by foot, bike, boat, or kayak. With its peaceful atmosphere and friendly locals, it’s the perfect place to relax, recharge, and uncover hidden gems. Whether hiking Mount Farrell’s trails or enjoying a reflective moment by Lake Rosebery, Tullah offers a slower pace of life and stunning natural surroundings. Please note, there is no petrol station in Tullah, so plan ahead. However, there are plenty of places to pause, enjoy a drink, and take in the views of Tasmania’s magnificently rugged West Coast.
