About This Community
Gnowangerup Council has an approximate area of 4,300 km².
It is comprised of the suburbs of Borden, Gnowangerup and Ongerup.
It is comprised of the localities of Amelup, Cowalellup, Jackitup, Kebaringup, Magitup, Mills Lake, Mindarabin, Monjebup, Nalyerlup, North Stirlings, Pallinup and Toompup plus parts of Stirling Range National Park.
It is surrounded by the councils of Albany, Broomehill-tambellup, Cranbrook, Jerramungup, Katanning, Kent and Shire Of Plantagenet.
It is within the state electorate of Wagin.
It is within the federal electorate of O'connor.
