About This Community
Melville Council has an approximate area of 53 km².
It is comprised of the suburbs of Alfred Cove, Applecross, Ardross, Attadale, Bateman, Bicton, Booragoon, Brentwood, Bull Creek, Kardinya, Melville, Mount Pleasant, Murdoch, Myaree, Palmyra, Willagee and Winthrop plus parts of Leeming.
It is surrounded by the councils of Canning, Cockburn, East Fremantle and Fremantle.
It is comprised of the state electorate of Bateman plus parts of Alfred Cove, Fremantle, Jandakot and Willagee.
It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Fremantle and Tangney.
