What is Miraa Home?
Situated in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane, Miraa Home is a boutique, exclusive all-female short-term accommodation and boarding centre, for women with an intellectual disability.

What do we offer?
Offering a safe and secure environment, aligned with the NDIS system, Miraa Home provides the opportunity to learn and practice life skills whilst building long-lasting friendships. Engaging qualified professionals to structure the Short Term Accommodation and Boarding Programs, Miraa Home staff enable each individual the ability to work toward their personal goals through identifying strengths and limitations and developing decision-making skills.

About Us
Miraa Home is designed to feel like a real home, warm and inviting and is an extension of Miraa House. Encompassing all that the Miraa House programs teach, here we implement skills of daily living and decision-making in a supported, yet independent living space.

The Story of Miraa Home
With the continued success of Miraa House, the next advancement towards creating independence in the lives of women with intellectual disabilities, was to establish a home enabling women to take their first steps in transitioning to a home away from home.

And this is why Miraa Home exists today.
