About Us

Creative Adventures work with participants in regular guided, exploratory experiences, motivating and inspiring us in a variety of practical art making, such as drawing, painting, printmaking, mixed-media, three-dimensional and digital creation.

Creative Adventures are co-designed with participants, working toward NDIS Plan goals, creative arts aspirations, personal needs and preferences. Creative Adventures are as unique as the individuals participating in them and are suited to people of all ages, abilities and existing levels of creative skills development. You can learn more about Creative Adventures on the CommunARTy website.

CommunARTy sole-trader Al is an experienced, qualified visual artist and a registered teacher. Having tailored experiences for a wide range of people, from young children through to adults for nearly 20 years, Al has supported and guided the learning and development of many people of diverse abilities. The CommunARTy Creative Adventure model has evolved from these experiences.

CommunARTy understands that supporting people to develop ways of engaging with the world more creatively, and making art inspired by this, has the power to positively influence numerous aspects of people’s lives. Beyond creativity and art skills, intra and interpersonal skills, communication, planning and problem-solving, community participation, confidence and personal pride are all enhanced.
