About Us

Court Network is a unique and voluntary support service that provides personal and confidential non-legal information, support and referrals to ALL court users on their day in court (both Applicant and Respondent/Defendant parties, individual, families and friends).

Referrals include duty solicitors, court staff, external services (community, welfare and legal) and practitioners ensuring continuity of care and support for court users. A tour of the court, prior to court appearance, can be arranged. Legal terminology clarification.

The Queensland service was established in 2006 and is currently assisting people:

  • Brisbane Magistrates Court
  • Brisbane District and Supreme Courts
  • Brisbane QCAT
  • Cairns Magistrates, Supreme and District Courts and QCAT
  • Townsville Magistrates, Supreme and District Courts and QCAT
  • Brisbane Victim Support Unit
  • Ipswich Victim Support Unit
