YEP Program

The Youth Engagement Program (YEP) helps young people that are disengaged in learning build self-esteem and enhance life skills.

YEP reconnects vulnerable young people aged 14-18 living in Logan, Redlands and Ipswich with formal education or preparation for work.

A yourtown team of professionals and volunteer mentors work together to understand the issues in a young person’s early disengagement from school.
They help each young person address those issues and either re-enroll in school or begin the transition to work.

Young people in the Youth Engagement Program receive a range of counselling, skillls workshops & training, and assistance in getting back to school or an alternate education program.
