Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health Program Mackay

Provides culturally appropriate support and interventions associated with mental health challenges for anyone 14 years and older with individual and group engagement. Support includes an understanding of social and emotional wellbeing, and connection to culture strategies. At risk clients have access to the most suitable level of psychological services and health care.

Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS)

CYMHS provides assessment and treatment for children and young people up to the age of 18 who have severe behavioural and/or emotional difficulties that impact on their daily functioning. The service is based in Mackay with limited outreach services to Bowen, Moranbah and Sarina.
