About Us
Our Chronic Disease unit brings in a wide range of specialists to help Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander people prevent or treat chronic diseases. As the ATSI community has such high rates of chronic diseases it's important that they are given support and education.
Services that we provide are:

I.D.E.A.S Van/ DRS Camera (for diabetes eye screening)
Our schedule for Visiting specialists are as follows:
- Dietician - Every Wednesday
- Diabetes Educator - Every second Wednesday
- Endocrinologist - 3 monthly
- Optometrist - Monthly
Healthy for Life program
Our healthy for life program provides a social environment for ATSI community to learn and combat chronic illnesses. These programs are:
