Bucasia Beach Quilters Inc.

We meet every Wednesday morning from 9am to 12, except during Christmas school holidays at the Northern Beaches Community Hall, Wallace Street in Bucasia. We also have a monthly all day Sit and Sew, on the second Saturday of the month at the Women's Centre, Shakespeare Street from 9am to 4pm.

Leap Yakapari District Development Association

All locally Home made and handmade products produced throughout the Mackay Whitsunday Region. Run by volunteers. We also have a small tea room that operates for Devonshire teas, High teas and Lunches. Access for all abilities and a large space for creative workshops held regularly. The Community Hall grounds are available for hire for larger functions or events for a nominal fee.

QCWA Mackay Branch handcraft hold craft & social morning every second Thursday in the CWA Hall, 43 Gordon St, Mackay. Cost is $2 including morning tea. Classes are open to the community, everybody is welcome.

We offer Our Mates Place (OMP) centre providing peer group & education development, along with recreational opportunities from 9am - 3pm Mon - Fri in Mackay. Artspace hosts a diverse range of travelling exhibitions from national and regional gallery collections, and also curates shows from its own Mackay Regional Council Artists Book Collection.
