Isa Psychology

Heather White founded Isa Psychology in March 2017, and Paula Keating took over Isa Psychology in 2021. Paula provided psychology services from local health clinics, Mount Isa Medical Centre, and Sonic HealthPlus: Mount Isa GP Super Clinic. Now she continues to provide by telehealth services from Brisbane region. Head to our contact page for more information on availability.

Paula provides psychological therapy that is tailored to the individual. In a session you can expect her to listen and hear what you are experiencing without judgement.  You will find her counselling style is open and flexible, as she aims to be sensitive to the individual client’s needs and their goals for therapy. Paula commonly assists people experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, anger, communication and relationship difficulties, grief, and trauma. 

Paula uses evidence based therapies, which include, but are not limited to Psychodynamic Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy,  Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Progressive Exposure Therapy and Brief Solution Focused Therapy. Click here to learn more about Paula’s approaches to therapy. 

Paula’s main areas of work are treating:

Paula provides services mainly from Monday to Friday. Main hours are 9-4, however some early, late, or weekend appointments can be arranged in advance, by email or phone contact. You can make an appointment by booking online.
