About This Community
Cabonne Council has an approximate area of 6,000 km².
It is comprised of 26 suburbs including Amaroo, Belgravia, Bocobra, Boomey, Boree, Borenore, Bowan Park, Bumberry, Byng, Cadia, Clergate, Four Mile Creek, Garra, Kangaroobie, Larras Lee, Lewis Ponds, Lower Lewis Ponds, March, Moorbel, Nashdale, Nyrang Creek, Summer Hill Creek, Toogong, Waldegrave and Windera plus parts of another 10 suburbs.
It is comprised of the localities of Baldry, Cargo, Cudal, Cumnock, Gumble, Lidster, Manildra, Molong, Mullion Creek, Murga, Obley, Ophir and Yeoval plus parts of Canowindra, Eugowra, Gooloogong, Gowan, Mandagery and Orange.
It is surrounded by the councils of Bathurst Regional, Blayney, Cowra, Dubbo, Forbes, Mid-western Regional, Narromine, Orange and Parkes.
It is within the state electorate of Orange.
It is within the federal electorate of Calare.
