It is comprised of the suburb of Mulguthrie plus parts of Derriwong.
It is comprised of the localities of Bedgerabong, Forbes, Garema, Gunning Gap, Jemalong, Mulyandry, Ooma and Paytens Bridge plus parts of Cookamidgera, Corinella, Daroobalgie, Eugowra, Lake Cowal, Mandagery, Ootha, Warroo, Wirrinya and Yarrabandai.
It is surrounded by the councils of Bland, Cabonne, Cowra, Lachlan, Parkes and Weddin.
It is within the state electorate of Orange.
It is within the federal electorate of Riverina.
