About This Community
Bland Council has an approximate area of 8,600 km².
It is comprised of the localities of Alleena, Back Creek, Bland, Girral, Kikoira, Mirrool, North Yalgogrin, Tallimba, Weethalle, West Wyalong and Wyalong plus parts of Ardlethan, Ariah Park, Barellan, Barmedman, Beckom, Kamarah, Lake Cowal, Moombooldool, Morangarell, Naradhan, Quandialla, Rankins Springs and Ungarie.
It is surrounded by the councils of Carrathool, Coolamon, Forbes, Hilltops, Lachlan, Narrandera, Temora and Weddin.
It is within the state electorate of Cootamundra.
It is within the federal electorate of Riverina.
